Tokyo 2020: Women's rugby sevens - team GB start with a win

After a narrow loss against ROC in their opening Pool A match, Team GB bounced back to beat Japan 19-10 in Tokyo.

Emma Uren crossed the whitewash twice and there were also tries from Abbie Dow and Holly Aitchison.

It means Team GB finish second in their pool and will face the United Stated in the quarter-finals.

Reigning champions Australia eased into the quarter-finals after recording two wins on day one of the women's rugby sevens.

First, they beat China 29-0 before defeating Japan 48-0 in front of a vocal home crowd.

Fiji also picked up two victories, beating Brazil 41-5 and Canada 26-12.

USA beat France 17-7 and Kenya 21-7 in their opening two matches to top Pool C.

ROC also picked up two wins, seeing off Kenya 19-10 and France 31-10.
