Ralf Rangnick Appointed Interim Manager of Manchester United

Experienced German Coach to Lead Red Devils Until End of Season

Appointment Subject to Work Permit Approval

Manchester United have announced the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager until the end of the season. The 63-year-old German coach will take charge upon receiving the necessary work permit, subject to the usual regulatory processes.

Rangnick, a renowned figure in the world of football, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to Old Trafford. Throughout his career, he has managed several top European clubs, including Schalke 04, Hoffenheim, and RB Leipzig.

The appointment of Rangnick marks a new chapter for Manchester United, who have been searching for a permanent manager since the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November. Rangnick's immediate task will be to stabilize the team's performances and guide them through the remaining fixtures of the season.

Speaking about his appointment, Rangnick said: "I am excited to be given the opportunity to lead Manchester United, one of the most famous clubs in the world. I will do everything I can to help the team develop and achieve success on the pitch."

Manchester United's CEO, Ed Woodward, added: "We are delighted to welcome Ralf Rangnick as our interim manager. He is a highly respected coach with a wealth of experience, and we believe he can help us to improve our performances on the pitch."

Rangnick will officially take charge of Manchester United following the international break. His first match in charge is expected to be against Crystal Palace on December 5th.
