NWS Issues Tornado Warning for Kansas City Metro Area
Severe Weather Strikes the Midwest
The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Johnson County, Kansas, and Jackson County, Missouri. The NWS in Pleasant Hill has issued a tornado warning for part of the Kansas City metro viewing area as nearly a dozen tornadoes were reported Tuesday into Wednesday, along with massive hailstones pummeling parts of the Midwest.
